Proposals
Create a New Proposal in Three Steps
New Proposal guides you through Lead Information, Pricing and Send Email. Remindoo saves a draft as soon as you move to pricing, so nothing is lost.
Built for UK accountants, bookkeepers and growing accountancy practices.
How it works
Creating a proposal in Remindoo follows three steps shown on a progress rail: Lead Information, Pricing and Send Email. On the first step you choose your LOE Template, name the proposal and switch between Create for existing Lead and Create for new lead. For a new prospect you type the lead name, add one or more email addresses with the + button and enter a mobile number with its country code. You then complete your custom fields, such as Type of Business, Turnover band, Payroll & PAYE and Services Needed, so the lead is created and quoted in one pass. For limited companies and LLPs, Import from Companies House searches the register by name. Results show each company's status (Active or Dissolved), company type and creation date, so you pick the right entity and avoid typing errors. For an existing lead, Remindoo fills in the email and phone number. Turn on Additional Info of Leads to record lead type, company number, turnover, address, postcode and notes, which are the facts that drive fees. Click Next to move to pricing. A draft is saved at that point, so work is never lost if you are interrupted.
Step 1: choose a template and add the lead
Pick your letter of engagement template, then switch between Create for existing lead and Create for new lead. For a new lead, add the name, one or more email addresses and a mobile number with country code, then complete your custom fields such as type of business, turnover band, payroll and services needed.
What you can see
- Create New Proposal, with the Create for new lead toggle on.
- LOE Template, Proposal Name and New Lead Name (Kestrel Logistics Ltd).
- Email with + and a saved address, plus Area Code (United Kingdom | +44) and Mobile no.
- Custom fields: Type of Business, Turnover, Payroll & PAYE, Services Needed (Accounts, Tax & Payroll).
- Import from Companies House link, Next, and the Lead Information → Pricing → Send Email rail.
Why it matters: The lead and the proposal are created together.
Import company details from Companies House
Click Import from Companies House and search by company name. Results show the company status, company type, number, address and incorporation date, so you can pick the right entity.
What you can see

- Search for "dental practice".
- Result cards with Active or Dissolved badges and company type, such as PRIVATE LIMITED COMPANY.
- "Created on" date on each card.
- Result count, pagination and Next.
Why it matters: You pick the correct registered entity instead of re-typing it.
Add the details your fees depend on
For an existing lead, Remindoo fills in the email and phone number. Turn on Additional Info to record the lead type, company number, turnover, address, postcode and notes, then click Next to move to pricing.
What you can see
- Create for existing Lead, with Existing Lead Name Oakridge Dental Practice Ltd.
- Email and mobile filled in automatically.
- Additional Info of Leads switched on.

Why it matters: The details that set the fee are captured before pricing.

Why tracking leads and proposals matters
Every enquiry a practice fails to follow up is lost fee income. A clear pipeline shows which prospects need a reply, a proposal or a follow-up.
Faster replies
Prospects often contact more than one firm, so the firm that replies first and clearly has an advantage.
Consistent proposals
Templates and a services catalogue keep scope and pricing consistent whoever writes the proposal.
Signed terms from day one
E-signed engagement letters confirm scope and responsibilities before work begins.
No re-keying
Converting a won lead into a client keeps the details you already collected.
Practical tips from UK practice
- Reply to every new enquiry within one working day.
- Use lead statuses that match your real sales stages, and review them weekly.
- Send the engagement letter with the proposal so the client signs once.
- Record why lost leads were lost, to improve pricing and messaging.
