Remindoo + FreeAgent Integration

Connect FreeAgent to keep sole trader and small company clients organised in Remindoo. Manage the client, the work and the deadlines in Remindoo while FreeAgent does what it does best.

Remindoo links sole trader and small company clients to their FreeAgent accounts.

What you can do with FreeAgent

  • Link FreeAgent clients to Remindoo records
  • Keep client details in step
  • Run the same deadlines and workflows for every client

How the FreeAgent connection works

What happens between Remindoo and FreeAgent once the connection is switched on.

01

Client records linked

Connect FreeAgent and match clients so the same client exists once in your practice system.

02

Details kept in step

Client information can be brought across instead of retyped, which suits high-volume sole trader work.

03

Same deadlines and reminders

FreeAgent clients use the same service templates, deadlines and automated reminders as everyone else.

What this changes in your practice

  • Sole trader books stay in FreeAgent while the practice runs in Remindoo
  • Faster onboarding for smaller clients
  • One consistent workflow across mixed software
  • Less retyping of client contact details

FreeAgent integration questions

Is FreeAgent only for sole traders?

Many firms use it for sole traders and smaller companies, but the connection works for any client you keep in FreeAgent.

Do I need a separate FreeAgent subscription?

Yes. Remindoo connects to your own FreeAgent account, so you keep your existing FreeAgent plan and billing.

Can I switch the connection off later?

Yes. A connection can be disconnected in your practice settings at any time, and the records already in Remindoo stay where they are.

Built for UK practice growth

Every deadline. Every client. One system.

Start with the workflows that cause the most chasing, then bring leads, AML, proposals and clients into the same calm operating system.

Why recording every task matters in an accountancy practice

Accounting firms run on deadlines: VAT returns, payroll, confirmation statements, accounts and Self Assessment. Recording every job as a task, with an owner and a date, is the simplest way to make sure nothing is missed.

Avoid penalties

HMRC and Companies House charge penalties for late filing. A task for every deadline, with an internal date before it, gives the team a buffer.

Nothing depends on memory

Recorded tasks mean work continues when someone is off sick, on leave or has left the firm.

Consistent quality

Subtask checklists make every job follow the same steps and reviews, whoever does the work.

Visibility for managers

Filters by owner, status and deadline show at a glance what is late, what is due and who needs help.

Practical tips from UK practice

  • Set an internal deadline two to four weeks before every statutory deadline.
  • Use recurring tasks for repeat work such as VAT, payroll and bookkeeping.
  • Break larger jobs into subtasks, including a review step.
  • Comment on the task instead of by email, so the history stays with the work.
