Remindoo + Stripe Integration

Take card payments from clients through Stripe. Manage the client, the work and the deadlines in Remindoo while Stripe does what it does best.

Remindoo sends your invoice to Stripe so the client can pay by card.

What you can do with Stripe

  • Collect fees by card
  • Reduce chasing for unpaid fees
  • Keep payment status visible to the team

How the Stripe connection works

What happens between Remindoo and Stripe once the connection is switched on.

01

Pay from the invoice

Connect Stripe and your Remindoo invoices can carry a card payment option for the client.

02

Status back on the record

Paid, part paid and unpaid status sits on the invoice and the client record, so the team can see where the fee stands.

03

Chasing that follows through

Unpaid invoices can be chased with scheduled reminders instead of somebody keeping a private list.

What this changes in your practice

  • Clients can pay as soon as they read the invoice
  • Less time spent chasing fees
  • Payment status visible to whoever picks up the client
  • Card payment alongside your other payment options

Connecting Stripe

Setting the connection up takes a few minutes and can be undone at any time.

  1. Open Integrations in your practice settings and choose Stripe.
  2. Sign in to your Stripe account and approve access.
  3. Choose which invoices offer card payment.
  4. Send a test invoice to yourself before going live with clients.

Stripe integration questions

Who sets the card fees?

Stripe does. Its charges are between your practice and Stripe; Remindoo does not add a fee on top of payments.

Is Remindoo full bookkeeping?

No. Remindoo is a single-entry invoicing system. Double-entry bookkeeping stays in Xero or QuickBooks.

Do I need a separate Stripe subscription?

Yes. Remindoo connects to your own Stripe account, so you keep your existing Stripe plan and billing.

Can I switch the connection off later?

Yes. A connection can be disconnected in your practice settings at any time, and the records already in Remindoo stay where they are.

Built for UK practice growth

Every deadline. Every client. One system.

Start with the workflows that cause the most chasing, then bring leads, AML, proposals and clients into the same calm operating system.

Why recording every task matters in an accountancy practice

Accounting firms run on deadlines: VAT returns, payroll, confirmation statements, accounts and Self Assessment. Recording every job as a task, with an owner and a date, is the simplest way to make sure nothing is missed.

Avoid penalties

HMRC and Companies House charge penalties for late filing. A task for every deadline, with an internal date before it, gives the team a buffer.

Nothing depends on memory

Recorded tasks mean work continues when someone is off sick, on leave or has left the firm.

Consistent quality

Subtask checklists make every job follow the same steps and reviews, whoever does the work.

Visibility for managers

Filters by owner, status and deadline show at a glance what is late, what is due and who needs help.

Practical tips from UK practice

  • Set an internal deadline two to four weeks before every statutory deadline.
  • Use recurring tasks for repeat work such as VAT, payroll and bookkeeping.
  • Break larger jobs into subtasks, including a review step.
  • Comment on the task instead of by email, so the history stays with the work.
