Bulk Delete Tasks
The Bulk Delete feature allows you to remove multiple tasks at once. Instead of deleting tasks individually, you can select several tasks, or all tasks, and delete them in a single action. This feature is designed to help maintain a clean and organised task environment, especially when removing duplicate, test, or irrelevant tasks.
What Bulk Delete Does
When you use Bulk Delete:
- All selected tasks are permanently removed from the system.
- The tasks will no longer appear in any section (All, Not Started, Complete, Archived, or Snooze).
- Associated task data (details, comments, attachments, history) is also removed.
This action cannot be undone once confirmed.
How Bulk Delete Works
- Navigate to the Tasks Menu.
- Use the tick box above the task list to:
- Select all tasks at once, or
- Manually select specific tasks.
- Click on the Delete option.
- Confirm the deletion.
All selected tasks will be permanently deleted.
When to Use Bulk Delete
Bulk Delete is useful in situations such as:
- Removing duplicate tasks
- Cleaning up test or demo data
- Deleting incorrectly created tasks
- Clearing outdated or irrelevant tasks
- Large-scale system clean-up
