Kanban Pipeline View for Leads
Switch the Leads list to Kanban view to see your pipeline as columns, one per status. Each column shows how many leads it holds and their total estimated value.
Built for UK accountants, bookkeepers and growing accountancy practices.
How it works
Some partners think in lists and others in boards. The Kanban view gives an accountancy practice lead pipeline the board layout many sales teams prefer. Click Show Kanban View and each status becomes a column: New Lead, In-Progress, Wants to talk to an accountant, Not Responding and any custom stages you have added. Each column header shows how many leads it holds and their combined estimated value. In the sample, New Lead holds 35 leads worth £6,000 and Wants to talk to an accountant holds one worth £2,400, so you can see where value is building up and where it is stalling. Cards show the lead name and type, address details, date created, source and an email link. The footer shows the assignee and counts of contacts, linked items and attachments. Customise card controls the optional fields. Lead Name, Assignees, Email and Estimated Value are always shown, and you can add Address, City, Country, Date of Creation, Postal Code, Source, Status, Turnover or Website. In a weekly pipeline meeting, a board like this is quicker to discuss than a spreadsheet.

Why tracking leads and proposals matters
Every enquiry a practice fails to follow up is lost fee income. A clear pipeline shows which prospects need a reply, a proposal or a follow-up.
Faster replies
Prospects often contact more than one firm, so the firm that replies first and clearly has an advantage.
Consistent proposals
Templates and a services catalogue keep scope and pricing consistent whoever writes the proposal.
Signed terms from day one
E-signed engagement letters confirm scope and responsibilities before work begins.
No re-keying
Converting a won lead into a client keeps the details you already collected.
Practical tips from UK practice
- Reply to every new enquiry within one working day.
- Use lead statuses that match your real sales stages, and review them weekly.
- Send the engagement letter with the proposal so the client signs once.
- Record why lost leads were lost, to improve pricing and messaging.
