Remindoo gives your practice one structured place to create, organise and share approved guidance — for your team, your clients or both.

What is Remindoo Knowledge Bank?
Remindoo Knowledge Bank helps accounting firms create a searchable library of workflows, policies, technical guidance and FAQs for their team and clients.
Looking for help using Remindoo itself? That lives in our separate product help centre. The Knowledge Bank is where your firm writes its own content.

- What information is required for a VAT return?
- How should documents be uploaded?
- What happens during client onboarding?
- When are accounts due?
- How does portal access work?
Measure content use with views, likes and ratings
See which articles are viewed, liked and rated, so you know which guidance helps and which needs improving.
Keep article ownership and updates visible
Author information and last-updated dates show who owns the guidance and whether it has been updated recently.
Manage articles centrally
A dedicated Articles Management area lets administrators create, edit, organise and publish content from one place.
Build an internal training library
Use internal articles, attachments and links to help new starters learn practice processes, software steps, review standards and policies at their own pace. It is a reference library, not a formal course system with tests or certificates.
Provide client self-service guidance
Client-facing articles and FAQs help clients answer common questions — what to send, when things are due, how the portal works — without calling or emailing. Clients read content; they cannot edit it.

What is knowledge base software for accountants?
It gives an accounting practice one searchable place to keep its procedures, policies, technical guidance, training material and FAQs, so the team and clients can find approved information quickly.

Can I publish guidance for clients?

Can articles be submitted for review?

Can I organise articles using categories?

Can I see when an article was updated?
Yes. Article cards show the author and last-updated date so users can judge how current the guidance is.
Can the Knowledge Bank store accounting workflows?
Yes. You can document workflows such as VAT returns, year-end accounts or payroll. Articles describe how work should be done; Tasks, Services and Automations manage the work itself.
Is the Knowledge Bank the same as Remindoo's public support library?
No. The Knowledge Bank is a feature your firm uses to create its own content. Remindoo's help centre contains Remindoo's own articles on how to use the software.
Can it be used for staff training?
Yes. Many firms use internal articles, attachments and links as a training library for new and existing staff. It is not a formal learning-management system with tests or certificates.
Can it support client self-service?
Yes. Client-facing articles and FAQs help clients answer common questions themselves. Clients can read articles but cannot edit them.

Why recording every task matters in an accountancy practice
Accounting firms run on deadlines: VAT returns, payroll, confirmation statements, accounts and Self Assessment. Recording every job as a task, with an owner and a date, is the simplest way to make sure nothing is missed.
Avoid penalties
HMRC and Companies House charge penalties for late filing. A task for every deadline, with an internal date before it, gives the team a buffer.
Nothing depends on memory
Recorded tasks mean work continues when someone is off sick, on leave or has left the firm.
Consistent quality
Subtask checklists make every job follow the same steps and reviews, whoever does the work.
Visibility for managers
Filters by owner, status and deadline show at a glance what is late, what is due and who needs help.
Practical tips from UK practice
- Set an internal deadline two to four weeks before every statutory deadline.
- Use recurring tasks for repeat work such as VAT, payroll and bookkeeping.
- Break larger jobs into subtasks, including a review step.
- Comment on the task instead of by email, so the history stays with the work.
