See it working with your own clients
Client references, payment reminders and deadlines in one place.
Keep all of this inside your practice management software
Store each client’s UTR, VAT number, PAYE reference, Accounts Office reference and Corporation Tax payment reference in custom fields on the client record. Create one payment instructions email template with tokens that fill in each client’s own reference, then send it to one client or in bulk before each deadline. Set automated reminders and recurring tasks for every payment date, and pull filing deadlines with Companies House sync. Remindoo doesn’t submit filings, take payments or connect to HMRC — it keeps the references and the reminders in one place.

Frequently asked questions
When is a confirmation statement due?
At least once every 12 months. It is due within 14 days of the end of the review period, which usually starts on the incorporation date or the date of the last statement. Check the company’s due date on the Companies House search service.
How do I verify my identity for Companies House?
Follow the Verify your identity for Companies House guidance on GOV.UK. You can verify directly with Companies House, or through an Authorised Corporate Service Provider. You then receive a personal code to link to your roles.
What is an Authorised Corporate Service Provider?
An ACSP is a firm registered with Companies House that can verify identities and file on behalf of clients. Accountancy firms that are AML-supervised can apply. GOV.UK’s Being an ACSP guidance explains eligibility and responsibilities.
How do I register a company with Companies House?
Use the Register your company service on GOV.UK. You need the company name, registered office address, at least one director, people with significant control, shareholders and SIC codes. Identity verification requirements also apply.
When are Companies House accounts due?
For private companies, 9 months after the accounting reference date. First accounts have different rules. Companies House charges automatic late filing penalties, so set internal deadlines well before the statutory date.
How do I keep track of every client’s Companies House deadlines?
Use Companies House sync in your practice management software. Remindoo pulls company details and filing deadlines from Companies House so accounts and confirmation statement dates stay up to date on each client record.

Why a single client record matters
When client details, deadlines, documents and conversations are spread across inboxes and spreadsheets, time goes on searching instead of on client work.
One version of the truth
Everyone sees the same services, contacts, deadlines and notes for each client.
Accurate deadlines
Companies House sync brings in company details and filing dates, reducing manual errors.
Better client service
A full timeline means anyone can answer a client question with the history in front of them.
Secure document sharing
A client portal is safer than sending financial documents as email attachments.
Practical tips from UK practice
- Import companies from Companies House rather than typing details by hand.
- Record every service a client takes, so recurring work is created automatically.
- Add a short note after every important client call.
- Ask clients to upload documents through the portal rather than by email.
