The Assign & Reassign Tasks feature ensures that every task is clearly owned and managed by the right individual or team. This helps improve accountability, collaboration, and workflow efficiency.
Assign Tasks (During Task Creation)
When creating a new task, you have the option to assign it to:
- Yourself
- A specific team member
- An entire team
This ensures the task is immediately directed to the responsible party.

Once assigned, the task will appear in the respective assignee’s task list for action.
Reassign Tasks (After Task Creation)
Reassigning is used when a task has already been created but needs to be allocated to:
- An additional team member
- A different team member
- A different team
- Multiple assignees
How to Reassign a Task:
- Click on the task from the Tasks Page.
- The Task Card will appear.
- Click on Reassign Task.
- Select the new assignee(s) from the list.
- Confirm the changes.
The task will then reflect the updated assignment.
When to Use Reassign
- Workload redistribution
- Change in responsibility
- Adding collaborators
- Team restructuring
- Escalating a task
Important Notes
Reassigning a task does not delete previous task details or progress. It only updates the task’s responsibility.
This feature ensures flexibility in task management while maintaining structured accountability across your team.
