Quick Task Creation for Accountants
If you are running an accounting firm, every service begins with a task. Your deadlines and accountability can suffer if your task creation is slow or inconsistent. Remindoo Quick Task Creation is designed to make your task setup fast, structured and reliable. It gives your firm a consistent way to initiate work, assign responsibility and maintain visibility.
Create Tasks in Seconds
From the Tasks section, you can access the Quick Task panel by clicking the “+ Custom Task” button on the right side of the screen, alongside the “Recurring Tasks” button.
The Create Custom Task layout is on the Detailed Task feature by default. You can click the button to enable Quick Task.
This Quick Task toggle feature can keep the process streamlined and organised. Fill out the required fields according to your task.
Task Name
Enter a clear task name and brief description to define the scope of work.
Status
Select the task status (e.g., Started, In Progress, Completed, or custom stages).
Priority
Decide the priority based on the task urgency, such as high, medium, or low.
Internal Deadline
Provide the date of the internal deadline or the task’s submission.
Assignees
You can assign the task to yourself, team members or an entire team.

Turn a Single Task Into a Complete Workflow
Once created, you can expand Quick Task into a structured workflow. From the dashboard, you can select the task and add subtasks.
- In the “Create a Subtask for” section, add the subtask’s title.
- After that, select the required deadline.
- Set the estimated time for that subtask (hours and minutes).
- Add the required steps to complete the subtask.
- Finally, click the “Save” button to complete creating the subtask.
